Brian graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2022 with a Bachelors in Education, Democracy, and Justice. He also received a second Bachelors in Latin American/Latino Studies. Brian is very passionate about helping others and specifically, teaching students in various subjects. He received his Masters of Teaching in Multiple Subject and Education Specialist at the University of Southern California.

Throughout his professional trajectory, Brian's overarching goal has been to instill in students not only knowledge of various subjects but also a lifelong curiosity and thirst for learning. As an educator, Brian has worn many hats, from classroom teacher to mentor and educational leader. His approach goes beyond the confines of traditional pedagogy, seeking to cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and empathy in his students. He recognizes that true learning extends beyond the memorization of facts and figures; it involves questioning, exploration, and the cultivation of a growth mindset.

One of Brian's distinguishing characteristics is his commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. He understands that every student comes from a unique background and possesses individual strengths and challenges. With this in mind, Brian goes to great lengths to tailor his teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of his students, ensuring that each one has the opportunity to thrive.

For fun, Brian enjoys hanging out with friends, trying new coffee shops, and trying new foods.
