Kaylee was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Texas and continued her studies at the University of Southern California, obtaining a Master's degree in Education along with Multiple Subject and Special Education credentials. Upon moving to Los Angeles, Kaylee began tutoring children facing homelessness, especially in the Skid Row area. This experience fueled her love for teaching, prompting her to dedicate her career to it.

Beyond the classroom, Kaylee finds joy in visiting her family in Louisiana. She also loves exploring new places, diving into good books, and spending time with her dog, Copper. She believes in the transformative power of education, having witnessed its impact on her own life. She is committed to continuing the cycle of inspiration she received from the dedicated teachers who shaped her own educational journey.
